ALL IN DEVOTION GUIDE
Psalm 46:10-11
He says, “Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth.”
The Lord Almighty is with us;
the God of Jacob is our fortress.
Introduction:
Our life often moves at a relentless pace. We are surrounded by noise, activity, and the pressure to keep doing more, achieving more, and becoming more. In the midst of this rush, God gently calls us to pause and remember who He is — “Be still, and know that I am God.”
Psalm 46:10–11 is a powerful reminder that strength and stability come not from striving, but from surrender. Before we can rise to fulfill God’s calling in our lives, we must first be rooted — grounded deeply in His presence, His Word, and His love. Only when our roots are firm in Him can we rise with confidence, courage, and fruitfulness.
May you encounter God in stillness and strength. May your roots grow deep in His presence, and may you rise renewed — ready to reflect His glory in every area of your life.
Day 1:
Rooted In Him: A call to stillness, trust, and intimacy with God.
Verse:
Psalm 46:10a
“Be still, and know that I am God…”
Reflection:
In our fast-paced lives filled with endless deadlines, messages, and commitments, it’s easy to feel stretched thin and restless. We often move from one task to another, rarely pausing long enough to truly rest in God’s presence. Yet, in the midst of all this noise, God gently calls us: “Be still, and know that I am God.”
This invitation to stillness is more than just slowing down — it’s an act of trust and surrender. It’s a moment to acknowledge that God is sovereign, even when we don’t see how things are working out. When we quiet our hearts before Him, we begin to see His hand at work — bringing order to our chaos, peace to our worries, and strength to our weariness.
To “know that I am God” is to recognize His sovereignty and power over all things. It is a reminder that He alone is in control, that He reigns above every circumstance, and that His purposes will prevail no matter what happens around us. When we truly know who God is, peace begins to fill the places where anxiety once ruled.
As we start this camp together, let this be our posture — to come before God with still hearts, ready to listen, trust, and draw near to Him. In our stillness, we discover that being rooted in Him gives us the stability and confidence to face whatever lies ahead.

Day 2:
Ready to Rise: A call to confidence, obedience, and fruitfulness in His purpose.
Verse:
Psalm 46:10b–11
“I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!
The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress.”
Reflection:
Confidence is a belief or faith in someone we can rely on.
Do you have a person in your life who will always back you up? Someone you know that no matter what happens in life on good days or bad days that person will never leave your side? Someone who will fight for you and defend your name?
You might be thinking about your parents, siblings, spouse or best friends. But no matter how you put your trust in them there are days that they also fall short.
The good news is that you have a God whom you can put your full confidence and trust. He is someone who never falls short and always for you.
It was believed that the inspiration of Psalm 46 was during the time of King Hezekiah, when Israel was threatened by its surrounding nations. Israel was fearful, nations joined together to conspire against them. And Israel was outnumbered.
In the midst of a crisis and overwhelming situation it’s easy to panic, overthink, and try to find possible ways to solve a problem immediately.
Israel’s King Hezekiah instead of making alliances with other nations, chose to come before the Lord. Even in his distress and fear of the unknown, Hezekiah did not let fear overcome him but instead he chose to come to the presence of God. (2 Kings 19:14-15). He came before God to surrender his fears and put his confidence in that God will fight for Israel.
He chose to be still before God and sing praises to Him and recite the many wonders He has done for Israel. Indeed, God did not disappoint Israel and gave them victory.
Maybe you are also facing battles in life, overwhelming situations that seem hard to overcome. May you always be reminded that you have a God who is for you, your defender, your redeemer, your mighty fortress. your source of victory.
In Deuteronomy 31:6, He is our God who will never leave us nor forsake us.
In Psalm 23, He is our good shepherd who will make us lay down in green pastures & restores our soul.
The promise that “I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth” reminds us that God’s glory and reign are not limited. Even when the world seems in chaos or injustice appears to triumph, God’s name will still be lifted high. His plan is unfolding, and His glory will ultimately be seen everywhere.
